Let me tell my own story that led me to do my own search for the best remote access software out there. About three years ago my wife gave birth to our second son. I work from home, and the only extra room in the house became my home office.

As you can probably guess, the kind of new baby took over my office space and, by extension, also took my main desktop computer. Now normally this would not have been a problem, because we also have two laptops at home. But what happened is that it was basically found it more and more of a loss time to have to keep transferring files back and forth between the two teams.

What I needed, at least until we have developed a solution that would my new child with the dream that he needed time that gives me access to my computer at night, was a way to access the main computer, even if not necessarily can have access to my office.

Enter remote access software. I have admit that I was somewhat skeptical that even work at first. You know how it is things with computers – there is something that ALWAYS gets screwed and requires several calls to a support line. (And if you're lucky, the one on the other end of the line actually speak the same language as you.)

So it was with this in mind to download and install some of the remote access package that I found online. I'll arrive to which I believe are the absolute best in the second, but first I just wanted to give you an idea of how things work.

So, as I said, here I was ready to be completely frustrated because this plug-in or to update software or other pre-condition is not correctly installed and the installation of my software remote access would not work as it should.

I could not be more wrong. I'm not kidding when I say that this was one of the first times I had ever been really impressed by what a piece of software can do.

I would say that probably took about 10 minutes before being fully established, initiated the session, and – I am NOT kidding you – control of my desktop from my laptop. Now I want to be clear about this – I'm not talking about "a kind of "or" virtually "to be able to get files from my main computer. I'm talking, literally, control of that team, and everything about it, so remotely.

I'm very fortunate because, as I said, I get to work from home, in a true emergency and whether it would ever had to go back to my office to get to my computer I could certainly (my son would have just had to lose a few minutes of sleep that night.) But for people who do not have it as good as I – Who live 15 minutes or half an hour or an hour away from the office – I can not see how this type of program can be an absolute lifesaver. Not to mention a relationship saver if your partner does not like their workaholic tendencies.

All in all you have to say that the remote access software, in general, are some of the most impressive things I've found in recent years (the other is the dictate of voice recognition software – but that's for another article, you can not believe this!) and definitely does not work as advertised, if you get a quality package.
