Tracking affiliate links?

Hi, I'm sorta new to internet marketing .. I'm very well, some money constant love art the creation of campaigns and find out what works and what does not. I'm getting ready to start promoting a product that I personally use and enjoy a ton. I'm promoting the book face and yahoo answers to get started .. I have a blog or review site soon, but my question is marketing in facebook all I can do is provide information on the product and the direct link to the actual site. I created a separate domain name and sent it to my link hoping affilaite that become viral and easy to remember for those passing in the domain of others. Is there a way to track link itself? to see how many of the answers click on facebook or yahoo? from now on I have no idea to click my link to even see .. HELP! thanks mate
