HTML or website is better for WordPress?

I want to create a business website that will: 1. Selling my own products (CD audio-books and e). 2. Selling my consulting services. 3. Affiliate links to other sites (like Amazon). I was thinking of doing the standard HTML site, but research WordPress has me reconsidering. WordPress seems to have built in advantages such as Twitter, SEO automatic automatic ping directories, etc. My great concern is that I want sure I have an introductory paragraph about myself and my products, and I have pictures of the products listed on the cover, above the fold. I can do that in HTML. can be done in WordPress? Second major concern: I want to edit the site later (add new products, etc..) I can do small changes in HTML, but I know nothing about WordPress (not … it's a pain to work with). I do not want to be a programmer either. Are there people out there who can help configuration and support? Thanks!
