One way of marketing products online is through affiliate programs in which a website may not be necessary.
For many of members (or "publishers", as the Commission, called Crossing), this has been a successful company and for them has been very profitable.
Marketing affiliate is a quick, easy and painless way to make online income from Internet marketing need not worry about the complexities of construction and maintenance of a website.
No HTML coding, javascript, autoresponders, pop-ups or web hosting to bother with the configuration, or pay. All you need is an affiliate link to your store and you're promoting your chosen product to your niche or target audience.
Personally, however, worry about such "complexities" in building and maintaining a website has its own benefits and intangible benefits that I am not willing to go through high nor give at the moment.
Here are some reasons that until now I still believe that the end of the day have their own website remains the way forward if you want to do something bigger and be successful online:
First off, your site becomes the center of its web presence. It gives the opportunity to show your target audience or target niche product or service you have to offer.
Think of it as a flagrant interactive business online than going online, sellers and users can always refer to, hopefully with the intention to buy or make use of the product you are offering or supporting.
This stacks the odds in your favor as its top-of-mind choice once you have something you need to offer and have become aware of your website at one time or another (hopefully you've incorporated a way for visitors online to your favorite website to enable return to it at a later time).
Since it's your site, are able to exert a degree of control over what it contains, what it does and how they present the things. You can negotiate with potential traders to either be a promoter distributor of its products, and allows the possibility of higher revenues due to higher margins merchants can give in exchange for certain exclusivity.
This should allow you to position products or services in a way that benefits you more (is ie, products that need to be promoted can be put into a "page displays your choice).
Second, most of surfers and potential customers now expect you to have one (a website, that is). If you wish to be considered as a serious internet marketer or professional, this is the way to follow.
With the right elements, your website should help further establish credibility and rapport with your niche. You can use it as a means to disseminate information or some experience that your target market would find it very valuable.
Remember, a website showing a glimpse of his personality may highlight in a sea of "me too" websites. Today's online surfers are becoming more demanding and tend to appreciate sites that are more singular than typical cookie cutting sites is everywhere.
Thirdly, and this is an important point to consider: your competitors probably online with your own website! Chances are they are using their Internet presence as leverage in the supply and benefit from a product or service you could also be promoting and making money that had its own site!
With a website that is always "open for business" and this gives your potential customers or niche opportunity to shop, visit and do business with you at a time convenient to them.
If 10 pm to 2 am does not should matter more in cyberspace.
With the tools currently available out there, it's easy to setup your site to take questions, requests, orders and deliveries automatically.
Not much pain that, in reality, only some initial set up time required. After that things should navigate smoothly.
Fourthly, a well designed website always gives you the opportunity to reach more potential customers or clients, in time.
Provide "standards" as a simple map to guide their online visitors to your product or service offered various awareness (Technical or not) that may be necessary, support in terms of after sales service, documentation, manuals, video tutorials, etc.
Provides updated news and information also makes your site "Sticky", since visitors always have a reason to keep watching your site and hope to come to her for material cool.
Product reviews, tips online course and / or exclusive membership rights and information are just some of the other things you can gradually add to your site, and interesting.
Do not forget the advertising potential places you can sell to advertisers once your site reaches a certain "critical mass" in terms of daily unique visitors, page views, or a high Google PageRank (Page Rank 6 or higher).
Google is given the opportunity to make passive income with your website or through your Google Adsense program.
So the final result is not so much a page web offers in terms of validating your online presence that any serious internet marketer worth his salt should be without it.
Done just right, a website will go a long way in helping you achieve your business objectives, whatever they are, on the 'net.
Cheers!
