need honest opinion on promoting ClickBank products?

Has anyone ClickBank products promoted and made a little money? The reason I ask is because I was thinking about signing up as an affiliate. I am passionate about Alzheimer's disease. There are very few e-books While on this subject, but this would be impossible to promote? I'm hoping to get rich, but perhaps a few hundred extra dollars would be fine. I read a lot mixed reviews on Clickbank. Some say it was a big waste of time, others say they really like. I have heard that when you do sign up with them, you need get a domain name to link layer Clickbank. Why? I really appreciate an honest opinion. Would this be worth trying? I've been watching some classified sites and it seems that many people are promoting Clickbank! Does anyone know where I could, as an ad or artilce to promote the ebook I want to sell?

I thought and still think that the concept of ClickBank is really great. Except for the fact that (from experience) are unethical. Does violate the law, not that I know, but here's the problem. We had a directory that sent thousands of visitors to opt-related categories by function. Their methods of monitoring reports are very vague and it is difficult to track sales and make it very difficult to see what is happening with your account. Your payment policies are terrible.
