I recently did a test GoingUp and later upgraded to the paid version. Although I was very impressed with the ease of installation and panel design control which was where the positives ended.
I tried for days to get the shopping cart to accept my billing information. It took about 5 days to accept my card and I have good support helps. After a few days, support for billing, finally tried to find out e-mail and screen shot what was wrong, but now finally accepted the card. Rising never call me or give me a number to call even though requested contact information many times.
After updating, I was surprised to find that the number of keywords that could apparatus is limited to 10. In any part on the site are any indication of what is included in the upgrade and expansion unless the size of recording the amount of information needed to sign and the number of sites you can track. There is no manual for do-it-yourself help and since it is apparently new, the forum has almost no posts. The FAQÂ is empty essently and offers no help.
No customer service whatsoever. There is an email support and also a feedback form, but not responding. The quickest response I received was when I finally sent the same request about 40 times and the answer was telling me it was rude to spam them.
As I mentioned, the scripts are easy to install and has the option of JavaScript, PHP, and HTML tags. I am monitoring two sites, but after a few days the second generates an error in the system and was not Goingup tracking anything. It said a "data staleÂ" and an "Italian solution". I have no idea what that means, but certainly not want to go through all my pages and put back in again the same script that is already there. I did my duty and sent a request for assistance, but have not heard from support. That is no surprise.
There are several things that are not functional, because when you subscribe you may think are available: very nice tag clouds, heat map of the pages, instructional videos. They are not functional. I enabled the script page rank on my main site, but supposedly manually check and not gotten around that if only once in several days.
I feel that this is new, as there are few references to it anywhere. All these problems in my opinion, GoingUp is probably because they are new and was launched early. This is not an excuse for a lack of communication and support, however.
In general, I think Goingup has potential and has the best disposition of any anylytics systems I checked. Unfortunately, the total lack of support, probably will make it not viable for me. Furthermore, the limitations on the number of keywords to follow without paying through the nose is a major drawback. I see much potential for this system that I am disappointed much that I can not see a way at present to make it work for me.
- Recommendations for GoingUp:
- Establish a good support, including telephone support
- Providing detailed manual
- Provide videos and Demos
- Do the daily Page Rank
- Allow unlimited keyword tracking
- Show bot Monitoring
- Respect your customer
We will gladly give GoingUp another shot at my business, but will have to earn it.
