Anyone have advice on a mission trip for my husband and I to go for 6-12 months?

My husband and I are looking for a challenging mission serve for about 6-12 months. He is the superintendent of a construction company and working with eyecare (dispensing of spectacles). I am also a nurse, so I love working with children. If you have any clue about where we might go, preferably affiliated with a church organization, which changes would be great. I do not know if you are looking for a place in the states or elsewhere … I went Louisiana last year was so impressive and I can not tell you how bad I want to go back! Another place you could go is Africa, there is a company called World Vision that is large, you can talk to them and see what it is. Hope this helps. It is so impressive that you do God's work.
